From the vertical menu on the left click on “Objects
which will show us a list of all the existing objects in the organization.
To create a new object, simply click on the upper right “NEW OBJECT” button and the new object’s editing page will drop-down.
Type of object: select the type from among those described previously (to know more go to Object types)
Title of object: will appear over the image box of the object.
Subtitle of the object: will appear as yellow label on the image box of the object.
Description of the object: text as an introduction that appears to the access to the object in question.
Administrator Notes: helps to identify the objects created and to organize them. It appears on the lists of objects next to the name. It is not visible to the end user.
Select an image: will be what appears in order to identify the object.
Assign points: slide the bar and assign the points you want the user to win when accessing the object.
Disable download: prevents the user from downloading the object. (for those who have this possibility).
Open in other tab: the embedded objects can be opened in another browser window to facilitate their viewing.
Blocked object: allows blocking an object until others have seen it.
Select in the modal window which object(s) will block the current one and then click add to save.
Estimated time: assign the minutes you estimate it can take the user to consume the object. This will serve as an indicative figure for the user, as said figure appears at the bottom of the objects next to an icon like this:
Easter Egg: This is an object that will only appear to the user in case of completing the criteria that you define.
This condition is very useful for use in the learning program’s metaphors. For example, we can establish that in a learning program, the users have to find the “5 keys to the kingdom” and each key will be a learning object Easter Egg configured in different stages with an especial look and feel and which additionally will provide an important quantity of points with the aim of awarding the more constant students.
You can select one or several criteria and decide the quantity of each.
When you finish, don’t forget to “SAVE” the recently created object.
